I will always rent with Avis now because of Katie at this location. I was driving an economy car over Vail pass like a dummy and it was snowing and I was terrified of sliding off the road (not a good combo, pay the extra for the SUV!) I called the nearest location and got Katie who was so nice and waited after they closed for me to come switch out the economy for an SUV so I could get to my destination safe. Thank you Katie!!
Got rental agreement while waiting for luggage, then just walked 50 feet to vehicle and was on my way
These guys charged me an extra day and late fees even though I returned my car on time. Upon return they told me to drop my keys in the express return box because I was in a hurry to catch my flight. When Avis sent me the digital receipt I saw they charged 220$ extra! I sent a copy of my boarding pass proving I left Vail that day, meaning I couldn't have returned the car a day later. They still refuse to give me a refund.
Very easy pick-up, nice clean car that ran great for 10 days through the mountains. Drop-off was also easy, but could use with one more clear sign directing to Avis-specific spots. Also note that there is a bit of a walk to the terminal from drop-off--it was fine in the lovely weather I had, but probably wouldn't have been as pleasant with precipitation or bitter cold!
Rented at the Eagle Airport location. Very quick and easy! Prices were reasonable. Liked the car I was given. Very happy that I could drop off after hours - not all rental companies allowed that.
